ABOUT BEN JOHNSON, MD, FOUNDER
Dr. Ben Johnson started his career in 1997 when he opened one of the first medispa chains in the US. Dr. Johnson then founded and formulated his first skincare line, Cosmedix, with a strategy that was unique at the time. Dr. Johnson has since developed Osmosis Beauty with the goal of changing the direction of skincare away from excessive exfoliation. Instead, he wants to focus on dermal remodeling, barrier and DNA repair, and detox.

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE PLANET
Osmosis uses reusable packaging and recycled paper to reduce the impact on our planet. We believe that water pollution is one of the biggest challenges we face. Dr. Johnson has identified some of the most pollutants in our water, including pesticides, antibiotics and chlorine. He actively advocates for awareness of the skin and health consequences of these and many other toxins in an effort to improve water quality around the world.

Osmosis is dedicated to giving back to our communities, for example by supporting the Thirst Project, a non-profit organization that builds freshwater wells in developing countries to provide clean drinking water.
