Skin care for acne

What’s the best way to treat your skin when you’re bothered by acne?

It’s important to cleanse your skin, preferably both morning and evening, but most importantly in the evening. This ensures that there is no build-up of oil and dirt.

Often you will find that your skin around an outbreak is red and irritated, perhaps with yellow inflammation. Therefore, it can be really good to use products that have an antibacterial effect (against inflammation), both from Skin Tonic (BALANCE) and from serums (CLARIFY)

The accumulation of dead skin cells can help to encapsulate bacteria. Therefore, use an exfoliator. It is important that it does not contain grains, as they can scratch and irritate the skin further. We recommend using a peeling based on enzymes and the mild lactic acid (Lactic Acid). Do not overdo the use of peeling. Once a week will be fine.

Moisturizing and moisturizing is crucial to get your skin in balance. It shouldn’t be creams that are clogging. But, don’t be afraid of good fats either. Our skin barrier contains natural oils, and we want to strengthen that barrier. We like to use Hyaleron acid as an ingredient to add moisture and Shea Butter to add oil. ( QUENCH )

Sometimes you see information that oil is not recommended when you suffer from acne. We believe that the right oils, like avocado oil, can help calm the skin and balance its overproduction of oil. ( NOURISH )
